Ah. I always wonder why they do those pieces.
Thus do we growl that our big toes have,
at this moment, been thrown up from below!

Because it's Frederick and we are still quite the country folk here .

And because the issue of slots and the impact on the horse industry is quite a key issue here.

Also, it's a slow news day.
Life would be infinitely better if pinatas suddenly appeared throughout the day.

They didn't really touch on that though. It looks like someone just copied and pasted text from an MD Ag brochure or something. I wouldn't even call it an article. But that's what passes for journalism these days.

Honestly, I'm glad that it's not another Brittney Spears article, also!

As far as O'Mally, well.......I sure hope that racing can survive in MD.

My vote is : slow news day, lazy / overworked content provider (not sure we could call that article journalism) and the thought that hey, at least an article about horses would give them the opportunity to put a nice picture of a horsey in the news paper. Sigh.
I tolerate all kinds of animal idiosyncrasies.
    I've found that I don't tolerate people idiosyncrasies as well. - Casey09
