    Default check ligament injuries

Tell me what you know about check ligament injuries-of the mild variety.

I suspect a friends horse may have something brewing, but do not want to alarm her until I have more facts.

Personally, this is one injury I have no first hand knowledge of-so anything that you can tell me will be helpful.

Right now I have told her to cold hose with some cold wrap therapy-correct?
With standing bandages after ect..no turn out...I did mention that the horse may be in need of an US.

    Info?

As a side note-Scratches, hav'nt dealt with these for a while-common treatment these days?

My gelding pulled a check a number of years ago. He was slighly "off". Was put on stall rest and then slowly rehabbed back into work and has never been lame since.
