Smile Muddy Creek or Oringi raincoats?

Does anyone here have a Muddy Creek or Oringi raincoat? I am looking for something light weight that has a hood, is packable and breathable (my oilskin hurts my shoulders and doesn't pack well). What do you like/dislike about them? Any opinions would be appreciated!

My SO and I have Muddy Creeks. LOVE them, they are generously sized, the medium on me is a little big and boxy, but I wanted that in case I'm bulked up in sweaters and such. easily covers a horse's back and flanks, making you nice and warm and insulated. The fabric is a nice weight- not flappin' in the breeze. Used them last summer in MT, excellent quality equipment. I can't stand oilskin, hence the Muddy Creeks. Used them at home in AL and you don't get too hot in them, it's good stuff.

My only wish is that it had velcro or snaps on the bottom front, so I could 'tack them up' for walking in mud, etxc- I could add that, I'm just lazy.
A conclusion is the place where you got tired of thinking. (Steven Wright)

I too have a Muddy Creek raincoat, the long one. Have used it only once so far but it was great. POURING rain and I stayed perfectly dry. Roomy and very comfortable. Pricey but I figured it was a one time purchase. The lady that sells them is very helpful with selecting the right size.
