Statesman is lovely, what a thrill it must be to see him maturing so beautifully.

As an aside, it appeared to me from the video that a puff of wind came up and rattled a sheet of plastic (or something), which un-nerved one of the other stallions in the ring with Statesman. Statesman seemed to be able to correctly assess that the plastic was not a threat, the other stallion was not so clear, what a shame. Did anyone else notice that?

Oh my! Statesman received an overall nine for his score for the Bundeschampionate...9.5 for conformation and trot.....
    He was the clear winner.
Congratulations to Lux Dressage for their win with Statesman and the second place stallion Sonnenreiter (Sir Donnerhall-Lord Sinclair)rider Sasha Schultz.............Two out of three.......how cool is that????

OK, finally got a couple shots loaded of Statesmen from last weekend. Thought all would enjoy looking at what and "uphill" canter looks like!

I just finished the report on www.oldenburghorse.com. Thanks to Nancy for the great pictures of him in the finals. I also have a video clip of him in the qualifying round.

He just keeps getting better and better!

    Hello Anne
Wonderful news about Statesman, I saw the footage on the North American Division of the Oldenburg website he looked absolutely fabulous, it must fill you with huge pride that you bred such a wonderful horse. We are so thrilled that our mare Fortunie is in foal to him and cannot wait for it to arrive in Feb next year, I think Fortunie's full sister Facette Royal is also in foal to him so it will be really interesting to see what the foals are like!

Little Star is in foal to Stedinger - Furst Romancier semen was not available when we needed it so we chose Stedinger - she is due at the end of March. We love her FR filly so much she is so beautiful, long legged and with the most outstanding temperament! A very special baby!

    Best wishes

    Georgie P-c
