    Default The Endless Rain

It's raining again, all day. It's pouring, hour after hour this morning -- it's raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock !

Great for the pasture regrowths, but oh my the paddocks are a mess. And I'm petrified of them running and the footing slides and torn tendons.

Meanwhile, it's been so cold at night that the sleeping is excellent but the tomatoes are green and rock hard. It does beat the humid heat so ... I'll shut up

Looking at another 100+ degree day, and a 20% chance (no chance) or rain. Can I borrow some of your rain?

PS - our tomatoes are getting sun burnt. (I didn't know tomatoes could get sun burnt)

Send it south! We've been teased by brewing storms that either go around us or disappear from the radar completely. When we finally got a sprinkle on Monday, it wasn't even enough to hold the dust down. WE NEED RAIN!!!

NOT so great for the pasture here. It's too wet. When they do go out on it, they destroy it. And I've had to put them out on it, because the sacrifice paddocks are downright scary.

I've had ENOUGH. It's getting really depressing.

I wish we could figure out a way to get it where it needs to go... Our hay is *so screwed* right now...

We'll take it. Third week with temps in the high 90's/low 100's with horrible humidity. If it's going to be this hot & humid the least it could do is also be green everywhere instead of brown.
