Default Anyone tried the Red Barn KL Select Spirit Hunter Bridle?

    http://www.smartpakequine.com/Produc...ctclassid=6630

I was thinking of ordering it this weekend. I just wanted to see what you thought of the quality.

Does it run true to size? My horse is borderline full/oversize...not sure which to go with.

I can't specifically help you with the Red Barn Spirit bridle but I just bought Sovereign bridle made by Red Barn. I like the one I bought - beautiful and looks great for the price.

Below is a link to the sizing charge on KL Select's website:

I ended up buying a Cobb size for my TB and it fits him perfectly.

Does your horse have a pretty small head? My guy is borderline block head so i'm not sure which way to go. From the sizing chart i'm thinking full because the browband seems really large on the o/s.

    Any other opinions?

My guy's head is on the smaller side, specially in length (ie: cheek pieces and noseband). I had measured another bridle I have and then compared it to the sizing chart.

I think I have the martingale that matches that. Not positive it's the same model but it's definitely by Red Barn. I love it! Seems like nice quality and it's held up well so far.

Not sure about the bridles but the martingales run big. This was the only oversized martingale I found large enough for my giraffe necked warmblood.
I spent quite a bit of time in Smartpak holding out martingales to compare it was significantly longer than the others.
