    Default Confo. Critique Please.

Colt is a 06 Reg. A KWPN. Still intact. Amazing temperment. Went to be backed 3 weeks ago and was a star. Backer said he was by far the easiest colt hes started in years. Aimed @ hunters possibly jumpers. Has not been to an inspection yet but did have full rads done and sent off.

First pic he is a late 2year old. Sorry hes scruffy and fielded.

    Second is as a yearling.

He is a full sibling to an 05 filly that was the top 2 year old KWPN hunter in 07. http://inlinethumb31.webshots.com/21...600x600Q85.jpg

We are aiming him @ the inspections in Sept. but only plan to take him if hes ready. Just would like some thoughts and others eyes.

I like him he is very nice bodied. Would prefer to see a better stand up pic. Funny when I first read your post I thought he was a gelding and that it was a shame he had been cut and it would have been nice to see how he developed.

I like him! Only problem I see is that Neptune is no longer an approved stallion with the KWPN, so that may be an issue if you are going to them for approvals. I'd give the office a call and see what the scoop is.

Sixpound I'd hope that it ends up not being a sins of the the father issue.
I think Neptune just didnt finish his sport req's due to injury etc.

Pictures aren't great to judge him by, but all over he looks like a very nicely built horse. I can't see any major flaws.

His full sister was memorable. I look forward to seeing Beau Regard!

Default I like him better than the sister

but then she looks like a hunter, and I don't care for hunters. He looks more " jumpery" in build, I'll bet he is a sweet ride! Good luck with him, pretty boy.

I love him......I think he is gorgeous........no obvious faults that I can see with the way he is standing.

    Hi Michele!

How are you how is your family including your 4 legged children! Cant wait to see you @ the inspection this year..are you bringing anyone? As long as Beau says hes ready we will just have him. He is in my eyes just as nice as the filly and has an amazing mind to boot. Its so funny they are in pheno type very similar but mentally while both super easy to work with they are fire and ice personality wise.

Hope to see you in a few months . Best wishes!!

    Florida-
Ana Bella (Condios-Ekstein) for Jumper IBOP and 4 yr. old Iron Spring Cup

Zorriola (Ekstein-Corrado I) for 5 yr. old Iron Spring Farm Cup

    Michigan-
Ahme (Ahorn-Ferro) for Jumper IBOP and 4 yr. old Iron Spring Farm Cup

All riding tests- nothing in hand except at the Educational Seminar. You should ask if you can put your Beau Regard in the Educational Seminar for critiquing. We will all learn!

See you in a few months!

That's a great idea. I'll call today and see if they still have room.

I wish I knew. He seemed like such a nice stallion. Ive run across a few other of his get and alot of them will make teriffic hunters. He could have filled a niche in that market as well. Matter of fact from what Ive seen from the few that are old enough to be doing anything they really are all around nice horses.

That 2 year old pic is your def of scruffy??? He is gorgeous! Perhaps the lack of responses was because there was nothing to rip apart. You should be proud of him and not have any reservations about inspection/showing, IMHO.

I don't see any conformation issues other than perhaps in the yearling shot he looks fairly straight in the hind leg, but since that seems to happen when they are butt high it may not be true any longer.
