    Trailer Trash Ammy!

Default Need a trainer to start a baby greenie - TN, NGA area

Well, I hate like heck having to admit this, but it does not look like "Tony The Pony" is EVER going to be big enough for me to ride/show. (Caveat: he's not a pony, but he is only 15.1 and I'm 6'!)

So I am looking for a H/J oriented trainer who can get him backed and continue his training, say, up to 2'6". If this person happens to have a lesson barn and/or working students, so much the better, since it looks like I'll need someone to show him for me too, when he's ready. *sigh*

Ideally would like to keep him within 1.5 hours of Chattanooga. And if the person knows how to free jump, which happens not to be a tool in my arsenal, so much the better, since how he deals with that will probably decide which of several directions I decide to point him in.

I don't plan to send him out until the fall, if that makes a difference.

    Recommendations would be MOST appreciated!

Frank Hernandez is somewhere out near Collegeville, TN, I believe.

    He is WONDERFUL.

I rode with him in NJ before he moved to TN.

I highly recommend looking him up. I have no idea how far that is from you!
