Default Old guy at CANTER S. CA

This thread is just an effort to find this guy a home...what a lovely old man. Somebody must need a w/t horse for a dollar!

    Cholo Moon Pass aka "Chico"
Bay Gelding, 29 years old, 15.1 hands
Chico is a track pony horse who would make a great arena horse for a walk trot program. He is a seasoned rope horse with ground manners and a pleasant attitude. He is up to date on all his shots (annually, in January) and will be due for his West Nile booster in September. His teeth were just floated in March and he is currently shod on all hooves.

Damn....if he was here, I'd take him. My husband would kill me, but I'd take him. (hubby'd get over it pretty quick...he's a sucker for bays that are built like that...ESPECIALLY geldings!) What a great looking guy!

He is a cutie but....dang....I wouldn't have the heart to rehome a 29 year old. If I had an old horse, I think it would be part of my responsibility to make sure his last few years were truly good ones. I would be scared to pass my old man on at this point in his life and he is only 24

I hope someone with a place he can live out the rest of his life and kids to spoil him rotten takes him. That is the kind of horse that if I had kids, I would snap him up in a heartbeat. He looks like a great babysitter
