GM has always been one of my idols, even if he would not care for my short-legged pony-riding adult self. He is one of the greats. Period.

I agree with the previous poster and will personalize it a bit in that if I can ever ride a 1/4 as well as he does on this horse, I will critique him on it.
I love my fat pony and POA!

I don't care if it's GM or a short stirrup kid at her first show.

I think it's extremely incorrect to post a picture of someone else for a critique.

If you want to post your own picture for critique, have at it. People who send in their pictures to GM's column are asking for a critique.

Posting a picture of someone else for critique without their knowledge or consent- wrong.

How would you like it if somebody posted a picture of you for strangers to shred?

No kidding. Perhaps if people would stop focusing on posing on a horse over a fence and really learn to ride we could get rid of the 2'6 divisions at AA shows.

Of course it all comes down to the trainers and you can only teach what you know......

Hey now no dissing the 2'6. Me and my 4 year old are happy there for now .

i am sorry for starting such a rukus guys!! i put this up here so tha people could see some photos of him riding. now that someone said it, i feel bad for putting it up since it is not me, however when i said critique gm, i moreso meant just look how good he looks!
i realize how old he is and that he cannot be perfect and that he is most likely riding a hard/green horse that i would probably have trouble with myself...
