I'd like to expand my horsie library. So which training book do you go back to again and again for ideas? I recently read Beyond the Track which I really liked because it showed plenty of example photos along with step-by-step exercises. It also showed you how the horse might misunderstand and what you can do to correct the situation. So many books give you an exercise but offer no assistance when your horse doesn't do something correctly.
Skip over the entire first section of natural-horsemanship theory, go right to the ground excersize. They are fantastic! I taught my mare transitions, turns on fore/hind, leg yielding, everything from the ground work excersizes .
