    Smile Lesson/Clinic Pics & Vids.

I had a lesson/clinic with brenda (she is a judge) had it went fairly well. There was another girl in the lesson with me and then someone else came so there was 2 ppl including myself. I have another lesson with her next monday after the 2 day show. My trainer is braiding tom. night I leaned alot but it was also hard and yet fun!! Brenda rode my horse and loved her right away She said I was lucky to have such a nice "push button" horse at some things AKA W/T. I'll post more pics of us next monday!! I was the only huntseat rider there. The other 2 were dressage and western.

we did a lot of 2 point at the walk and standing still then we moved into the trot. (she said the reason why I place so well in my EQ classes is becuz I have a consistant body and still hands and im picture perfect. and my horse is basicly a hus horse.

Well done! You and Beautiful were so lucky to have found each other - I think she is the *perfect* horse for you.

    Happy trails!

Will this trainer be doing any clinics in the Greater New York area? I'm quite interested in auditing.

    Post Clinic/Lesson Videos!

[center]Ok so my B/O has this friend and she is a QH judge and she came down to my barn for 2 weeks and gave ppl Clinics/Lessons. I got 4 so far and maybe 1 or 2 more till she leaves Friday night. She only charges 35$ for each lesson! My trainer charges the same. I learned a lot from her and will miss her. Brenda wanted to take pony home with her.

You had your parents pay 35 bucks for somebody to adjust your stirrups for half an hour? That's a pretty sweet deal!

Your normal trainer should have been teaching you those things. Very easy things to spot and start to fix. What are your goals? Are you wanting to do local english pleasure or hunters at bigger shows. Right now this lady has got you geared toward small local western/english shows. Is a whole nother world than hunters.

That's great that you enjoyed your lessons and clinics with the visiting trainer! It's nice to try new ways of doing things or having someone teach you how to do something in a different way than your regular trainer would. It's amazing how sometimes how a different approach than what you're used to makes such a big difference in how much easier it is to learn.
