Know what a fabulous friend Bow is? Last year, when Ted had an unexpected reaction to one of the vaccines (he developed flu like symptoms), Bow would not. leave. his. side. Not for dinner, not for anything. When they weren't at the gate to come in for feeding, my trainer went all the way down to the run in and Bow stuck his head out, saying, "Hey man, we're sick. We can't come to dinner." She had to take off her sweatshirt, use it to slowly lead Ted back in, and Bow followed. Repeat for three days. The day I came there and saw Bow grazing outside the run in, I knew Ted was feeling better.

They eat from the same hay piles. When it's warm and dry, they splay out on the dirt on their sides, nose to nose, and snooze.

They are probably the most chilled guys at the barn, except when they have their TB moments and need to race each other back and forth.

Bow likes to drink QT ice tea from a big cup.

Not today they aren't - we had rain, the bugs are out, and now they have probably a half inch thick coat of mud...

So now I know whose picture to keep in my brain when my crew turns into a group of thugs at "Peep Time".
Actually, they are rather delicate with the peeps, savoring the sugary, melty taste of bunnies and chicks.
