Hello, I am looking for an old horse of mine. I sold my Thoroughbred gelding, Mac (aka, Southern Drawl), in 2006 to a young rider with a “First option of refusal.” I had lost their contact information, and just recently found them again. Sadly, they had sold Mac already and would give me no other information. This horse was my best friend growing up, and I am crushed that I can not find out his whereabouts or condition. I would only like to know he is safe and that he is with a loving family. If he is for sale somewhere I would love to purchase him back. He is 14 years old, although the new owners were convinced of him being 16. He has no racing tattoo. He was a three-day event horse under me, and went on to do PHJA hunter shows around Charlotte, NC with Sydney. Although its a long shot, miracles do happen, so if you have seen this boy around or happen to know who he was sold to please let me know.
He has a pretty distinctive face and a lot of presence so is hard to miss. He is 16.0 hands, red bay, has a small scar on his left knee, slightly turned out hooves, and the white of his left eye show.
