Default Reg. Oldenburg Stallions in Canada

I am looking for studs that are approved GOV or Old NA standing in Ontario or Canada.

This CEM stuff is just too much for me to try to deal with!

    TIA

Wokentanz II looks phenomenal. Think I might consider him for next year. He is APPROVED GOV.

    Default Harvard!

He is approved GOV for 2009
(I was his groom so I may be a little biased) but check out some photo's of his foals.

    Aliano - http://www.fmbfarm.com/index_fichiers/Alianoengl.html

Have seen a couple of his offspring in person. They were both nice, but very heavy and tall. I think he crosses best on modern, typey mares.

Let's put it this way - he is listed in the 2009 directory as "standing at Northwinds Farm", so I am assuming he is here. Of course, I could be making a wrong ASSumption, too.

I inquired about Harvard earlier this year. The owner was very responsive and promptly not only called me but sent out a DVD. Harvard is very impressive.

I'll put my plug in here for Sagnol, Freestyle and Rubinus. Our mare has produced several stunning foals out of our KWPN mare over the past few years, and we are expecting our first Sagnol foal this year. Additionally, several of our mares are booked to Rubinus for the coming season.
Jennifer is very easy to deal with, prompt and will spend time answering all your questions. Super customer service!

You also asked about approved ISR/Old NA stallions standing in Canada.

A Fine Romance is a registered Thoroughbred, Gold Premium Canadian Sport Horse (their highest level) and ISR/Old NA approved. He stands in Ontario.

Ask your dressage coach - her and I discuss breeding all the time - she should be able to give you some ideas. I really respect her opinion on these matters.

Routinier and Rhythm and Blues are both in Canada now I do believe. They are both GOV approved and sire fantastic foals.

The CEM thing is a pain, so we recently shipped a large quantity of Ironman frozen to a clinic in Canada so mare owners would not have to deal with that. He is approved GOV and ISR Old as well as both Canadian registries.

I have spoken with her and we both agree on the same stallion, Sagnol. Just want to see what else is out there!

    Canada has really super stallions.

With your distances, how does the inspection requirement work out for you?
