Default Updated - yearling photos - was Foal photos of my new pony hunter stallion prospect!

Well I just received foal photos of my yearling pony hunter stallion prospect, Barkmeadow Gold Mine (Pendock Prospector X Boston Blodwyn) and per many requests, I wanted to share. He is a Welsh Section B and buckskin in color and should finish about 13.2hh. I have attached his pedigree for those interested. It is quite nice and he is a very sweet, good-natured boy with lovely hunter movement.

Thank you! I am beginning to love it more as he sheds out. It will be fun to see what colors he produces in the future!

He is going to change colors so many times it will make your head spin. I have a photo slide show of ours that shows her from birth to a now 3 years old. I bet most would say it was not the same pony!!!
    Congrats on your cutie!!

Thanks Alliekat. I took a look at your slide show - she is certainly a nice creamy buckskin now - very cute. I think this one will be a dark gold like his sire, but time will tell of course. I am just ready for him to shed out!

He is the color of my own Adagio colt, right? Or is little Tempo lighter?

    Default New yearling photos

Well I finally got a few somewhat decent photos of my new colt - (bought back in early Spring). He is a Section B Welsh colt by Pendock Prospector (Bureside Mandate X Pendock Poise) out of Boston Blodwyn (Varndell Right Royal X Downland Emmerline). He is a big boy currently standing just a hair under 13 hh - I expect he will finish right at about 13.2hh like his sire. He is a lovely mover and super quiet. My plans are to eventually cross him back to my Adagio fillies that I have kept as well as breed him to a couple of smaller mares I currently have.
