    Default RedBrand isn't so great!

I bought a 4' Redbrand fence and it rusted out in 3 and a half years. I did some research and that red paint keeps the moisture on the wire and it starts to rust quicker

I just bought a ToughStrand no climb fence and it stretches well and looks great. I think ToughStrand is made by Tree Island Industries out of Vancouver, BC.

I started to reply until I saw how old this thread was. Everything anyone needs to know about it has been covered already in this thread.

    Love my no climb!!!!

Personally i would pay a pro to put it in. We had a pro do ours 10 years ago and it still looks perfect. yes, the corners are concreted in the ground and my posts are 8' a part.

    Mine is Red Brand.

We crossfenced one pasture about 5 yrs ago ourselves with a less exspensive brand(don't remember what it was at this point) and it is ok, but not as nice and tight as the pro did it.

The worst part is that this cheaper brand at half the age of the Red Brand, is all rusted out and we are going to have to replace it in the next year or two while the Red Brand is still silver and red!

I did some research and that cheaper brand is "Ranch Hand". It has less zinc than Redbrand and ToughStrand.

How is the Bekaert holding up. Redoing ours and need to pick between Red brand and Bekaert-what is your opinion now?

    Thank You
