Default Does this wee bitty face...

    ...look familiar?

It should, because that's Rags to Riches' first foal: a filly born March 9th.

    Cutie!!

Silly Question; What is the purpose of the "collar" on the mare?

For most TB broodmares I've seen, neck straps serve mainly as another form of identification; like the halters they have a brass name plate. (In some non-broodmare situations I've seen neck straps used as an alternative to halters altogether.)

I could see how back-up ID could be really useful on a farm with hundreds of broodmares, should someone's halter break & fall off at turnout...

I know foals have crazy long legs, but I think that's the longest set I've ever seen!

What a nice looking filly, it will be fun to see how she grows up!

Giant's Causeway x Rags to Riches....now the real question is what are they going to call her?

That's a whole lotta leg on a little bitty body right now!

Boy is this filly BRED to be a champ, or what?!?!?! I'm guessing that little filly is going to be worth some serious $$$$$. Can't wait to see her all grown up!

She should be named Road to Riches, of course.

It fits with her mum & dad, plus a little wishful thinking never hurt anybody!

Road To Riches is awesome! I wonder if it would be poss. to e-mail the breeder for name ideas and maybe they will use one.
