Default The Thelwells are back, or my daughter went to her 1st leadline class (pictures)

I can't resist to share some pictures of my daughter and the pony she rode in her first leadline class.
Kailyn just turned 4 YO on Valentine's day and Paddington is somewhere between 26 and 29 YO. He was a show pony his entire life and thinks that leadline classes are the best.
He was a doll and took care of my little girl. Good Pony.

And yes, I know Paddy has a little 'weight' issue, but he is not getting any grain, he is on a dirt lot and gets only 3 flakes of hay/day. We can't starve him more than that

When I see them, I can't help thinking about the pictures of the Thelwells where the kids are doing splits on the fat ponies.

    Enjoy.

    You suck.

But, we did have weather warm enough yesterday that I could imagine that pic was taken here. I wondered briefly...didn't see any mud spots on your horse. GRRRR.

Oh - they are adorable!!! I don't think twice about a little hay belly on a pony of his age - glad he's in good flesh - he's beautiful. Your daughter looks like she was having so much fun in that first picture.

    That is one awesome pony!

As for the weight, he just has a nice big grampa belly, as any good grampa should have!!

They look so cute together, I wish him and your daughter many more happy afternoons together.

Aw...what a great grandma the pony is.

Awww that is so cute. I still have an ancient newspaper picture of me on my Thelwell type pony when I was 3 at a show. Best way to get kids into the show ring. I love the LL classes
