    Default rust tailored sportsman breeches?

Does anyone have a real life picture of themselves wearing the TS rust breeches? I am afraid it is going to be one of those things where I spend all the money to buy them and then when they come in the mail, I'll be like, eww why did I buy orange breeches? I really like the fit of TS but I am afraid they rust won't look good. Anyone have experience showing a black horse in rust either?

Depends on which version of the TS you ordered. I have the royal hunters in rust and they are more red than the TS version which is more of an orangey rust color which looked horrible on me.

I'm the opposite, I hate the redness of the Royal Hunters and love the TS ones which are more of a subdued brick color IMO. Sorry I don't have any pictures, I'll try and take some at home tonight if I remember.

I agree....I have both and the schooling are definitely more orange. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures though.

I have a brown/black horse and I'm thinking of trying rust on her this year. I have an old pair of EuroStar breeches that I LOVE, so I've hung onto then all these years. They are sort of brown/rust - brick-colored, I guess. I also have an old pair of the orange Harry Halls and I wouldn't be caught dead in those.

I'm trying to figure out how to not shock my trainer to death by actually showing up to the show grounds in rust breeches.

Amore brownish rust is what I'm looking for. Maybe I can still find the Eurostar rust ones? I'm NOT looking for orange, so I'm afraid the TS ones will be orange. My trainer loves rust. She just bought some mocha breeches and I asked her if that is acceptable to show in and she said she doesn't care. That made me laugh!

Oh, gosh, I doubt it. My EuroStars are at least 20 years old. I seriously doubt they make then anymore. Too bad...the color, fabric, fit, etc. on these breeches are fantastic. They don't make them like this anymore.

I think I'll wear my old orange Harry Halls to my lesson tomorrow and give my trainer a heart attack.

The schooling breeches are definitely more orange-y than the supremes. I've got several pictures of mine, but I will make the disclaimer that the photos were taken in a dark indoor and then lightened with photoshop which turned the breeches way oranger than they really looked:

Here is a picture of me in the TS Supremes. They are quite a bit darker and more "brick" colored than the cotton ones. I prefer the darker color myself. I have the cotton ones but use those for schooling primarily....

Personally - I love rust. They don't show the dirt....but I am used to the dirty looks and I am old - so I don't care. Back in the day they were the height of fashion. Let's just say I dig being retro.

Here's my facebook pix with my orangy TS schoolers. They almost strike me as being a little "pinker," like salmon pink, up close. I love any shade of rust, but as the economy is keeping me from doing much more than a few schooling shows this year, I can't break down and purchase the nicer ones for a while.

I apologize in advance if this link won't work; I'm very technologically illiterate and facebook pretty much my limit.
