Bill Cosby rode my old horse (before I owned him) at the Garden in the late 1980's early 1990's.

I braided Cleavon Little's horse at a show in 1992 or '93, can't remember which...I think it was an Arabian cross...it was for a hunter pleasure class.

I walked into my barn one day and saw the back of a really really tall black guy. I thought he might be a basketball player. I immediately chastised myself for making such a generalization. But then he turned around and I recognized Scottie Pippen of the Chicago Bulls. He was looking for a horse but we didn't have anything big enough!

Martin Lawrence's farm is about 10 minutes away from me in Philomont. I don't know if he rides, but I do know that his kids have a couple of ponies.

His daughter rode Jr Hunters in the 60s. She rode a horse called "Sir".
Anyone else hear Lulu singing "To Sir with Love" upon seeing 'Sidney Poitier' and 'Sir' in the same post?

Yup, walkers, and he adores them. My friend rides with him and his family. She calls him a speed demon, in a nice way.
