Anyone with a bay warmblood gelding leased out in Indiana
Anyone looking for this horse - feel free to PM me.
Not naming any names nor saying anything specific, just hoping to help someone out who may have leased a horse out and not realized that he is no longer where he is supposed to be- this happened to me with my horse and I'd just like to provide some help if someone out leased their horse to someone in Indiana.
I am speaking of a particular horse, not in general. PM me if you think this is your horse.
Owner supposedly lives in Ohio.
or email me
heidischmid@gmail.com
thanks

Owner found ALREADY! Wow! That's awesome. hope everything works out.
A good horseman doesn't have to tell anyone...the horse already knows.
Might be a reason, never an excuse...

Thanks, guys.
Just remember, always write a contract!
I have a horse there at the same barn I discovered in this lease gone bad and I couldn't leave the other guy there with his owner possibly not knowing where he was.... no horse left behind, eh?

Great news! Happened to a friend's leased mare, it took her 5 years to find her. She passed the word, posted flyers and ads in magazines and someone let her know where her mare was...happy ending for her.

And after seeing those horrifying videos on the KY slaughter thread...thank you. Because you never know where they might end up.

Yes!
Seen on a bumper sticker: "If you're not outraged then you're not paying attention!".

Michael: Seems the people who burned me want me for a job.
Sam: A job? Does it pay?
Michael: Nah, it's more of a "we'll kill you if you don't do it" type of thing.
Sam: Oh. I've never liked those.

This is AWESOME!
Nice to know that bad leasers can be located! Leases gone bad are a potential nightmare for all of us!
