Talking My Smoochie Won At HITS Ocala

I just received an e-mail with a wonderful picture that says "Thank you for believing in me".

It was a picture of Smoochie, a colt I bred, raised, and trained, with four first place ribbons, two second place ribbons, and two Champions from HITS Ocala. I just e-mailed his owner back to see what divisions he was in and what name he's showing under.

    I like the caption.

It says as much about you as it does about your wonderful colt.

We need more info and of course, pictures!

Congratulations! (And you can wipe those tears out of your eyes any time.)

Smoochie was just one of those "easy" ones. He's the only horse foal I've bred that is old enough to be doing anything, so I hope this is an indication of things to come from our breeding program. His family just purchased him in September and I get e-mails occasionally about how much they love him and how happy they are.

The e-mails usually start off with "Hi Mom, I'm doing great" and then go into his latest accomplishment. He is my baby and there is nothing like that feeling you get when you know you’ve found the perfect home for one of your kids!
