LET'S HEAR ABOUT SOME FAMOUS PONY HUNTER BROODMARES
Since we are talking about pony stallions and prefixes, what about the mares that produced several great show ponies/horses?

Am I Blue
I am thinking you speak of older broodmares , but I have a grand old broodmare who is by a wonderful older stallion -Liseter Cadet... She -did very well with her show career -
9th overall at Pony Finals, and Horse of Year in Medium Greens..back in her day. She had riders Cesery and Aldridge in her show career. She is now in my broodmare band, prior to that--she had some babies for other programs--none which are "famous" yet --but time will tell - one of them qualified for pony finals last season, but I do not think they attended.
Last summer she gave me an ADORABLE black colt....
Here are her links... she is at the top of my broodmare link..

Here is her 08 colts slideshow & you can see the old gal too:

I bet the Glenmore poster and VaBred can contribute a lot to this post..as they know a lot of the history behind the ponies........ hope they weigh in on this..
And Sugarbook--you get lots of the famous ponies right from the ring there in Florida--into your program... oh do tell us about some famous mares
Oh and just before Christmas -- was able to lease a great broodmare--she is the dam of the current performing pony Blue Crush. The broodmare is very nicely bed-- she is by Cloe Olympic Medallion(by Cloe Olympian) and out of Cloe Sylvan Blue (by Findeln Blue Danube. I cant wait to see what she will produce with my stallion Power.

Love those mares best of all.
My personal favorite would be Pandora (Upland Ripple) the dam of Cymraeg Rainbeau.
Then, there is Cui Glitter, dam of Farnley Lustre.
And Blue Haviland, dam of Blue Rain.
And Dolrhedyn Rose, dam of Dolrhedyn Rambler.
Those are the obvious standouts as they started the dynasty in pony hunters.

The fact that she put the finest pony I have ever know and had the good fortune to own on the ground makes her famous in my book
Oh my word... 24 foals!!

Duntulm's Waltzing Matilda (Coed Coch Ballog X Coed Coch Baran)
Dam of Benlea Rambler - currently #4 on the leading sires list and sire of many winning pony hunters including Pony Dot Com (2002 USEF Natl. Champ. small pony hunter)
I am blessed to have Matilda's daughter, Benlea Minuet by Shenandoah Arclight (Farnley Lustre) in my barn. At the age of 21, she is now retired from breeding, but luckily I have 2 of her daughters and a granddaughter.

I am not sure what you are asking for. I have quite a few "famous" mares who have become broodmares at Sugarbrook. If thats the question I will answer. Let me know.

Famous based on what they produced.

It can be famous mares that have famous offspring or a mare that has produced several famous offspring.

I'm glad you are talking about the mares. The are so underappreciated.
I have 2 at the top of my list.
GLENMORE JASMINE (Forge Nimbus x Glenmore Chanel x Coed Coch Grey Cloud). She produced Blue On Blue, Always Blue, America, Summer Dreams, Blue Flower, Blue Fox, Violets Are Blue, Blue Rains Princess, Ready To Rock. I may have missed some, I'm not sure.
Another outstanding mare was TEASE ME NOT(by Coed Coch Grey Cloud). She produced For Kids Sake, Pepperment Pizzazz, No Kidding, Kid You Not, Just A Kid, Kid me Not, Are you Kidding, Such a Tease, Who's Kidding Who, Kidding around, and Always Kidding.
