Default Video of new FEI tests --?THEO??

Has anyone got the new fei tests on video yet? theo, did you say you were involved in some of the test rides?

I am watching videos tonight and was thinking that I could be more productive if I was watching something to help memorize the pattern.....

Default You just have to wait a few days.

With Zwolle International (starting wednesday) as the first competition in 2009 and Jumping Amsterdam two weeks later I can forfill your dreams.

Some months ago we had the initial testrides in front of the IDRC and IDTC at Johan Hinneman's place but after these testrides some minor changes have been made.

Let's hope that the computer systems of the competition organisers are updated in time

Next to the fact that the halt and rein back will hurt the flow of a test, i really don't find it a good thing that Paces and Impulsion has lost their coƫfficient.

No less than Dr.Klimke always said-- "The result of good training is to improve the gaits."

Now they are making all the work any (good) trainer does...less valuable.

    Why am I not surprised.

Since one year we have the halt at the begining and the end of the test, now we have the halt and rein back on the scoresheets. Why ??? You don't have to be a rocketscientist to know why. But as Bob Dylan sung many years ago "the times they are changing" and "the old roads are rapidly changing"

    Please be aware !

Today we had the first GrandPrix test for the B-team riders in Holland.

    And......................several competitors had "program-errors".

    So be prepared !

I know several USEF "R" judges going through their testing for their "S". I am sure they would love to see the new tests especially since they are testing this month.

Oh dear, I felt so embarrassed for the first rider who couldn't get her horse to rein back! She looked to have a panic about it for a few seconds...

I bet she'll go home and practice that a bit more now

so? surely a horse and rider at that level can do a freakin' halt and rein back without even any warning!
