    Unhappy I lost my boy today...RIP U2

    My lovely SF/Hannoverian gelding that I was leasing broke his leg today in the pasture and was humanely euthanized..


    I am rocked with grief... he was kind and lovely and took wonderful care of me...


    RIP and Godspeed U man....you will live in my heart and be sorely missed.

    I'm so extremely sorry. That happened to a TB of ours years ago. It's so unfair.

    So sorry for your loss. I also lost a horse that was not mine once. It was my first paid ride and he was related to my mares I now use for breeding. It was a tough call to tell his owner what happened. I feel for you and I am so sorry for your loss.

    Thanks all.. its such an awful tradgedy... He has lived in that pasture for 12 years!! No one can figure out what happened..

    I have cried so much my eyes are swollen... I never even got to say goodbye..

    I know the horse world is small... by any chance was he leased by someone named Annie...?
