    I had a dressage instructor years ago that said it was a sign of relaxation... of the horse being totally in the zone. I've seen my mare do it a handful of times, though being a TB, her sideways floppy ears didn't make her seem quite as though she was about to take flight.

    Wasn't that Kathy Connely standing on the side next to Klaus Balkenhol? The announcer said it was George William's wife though. Maybe she was the one standing to the right but you couldn't see her when the announcer said that. Anyone else notice that?

    She has long been know for her floppy ears and I just love her and I love those ears. It is a sign she is really relaxed and really listening to her rider she just happens to have particularly floppy ears . I too have only seen my mare do this a few times and when it happens I am having the best of rides. Thanks so much for posting these videos I loved every step..
