Default 2009 is here- what is your number one resolution for the New Year?

Riding is a never ending journey- this is a good time to look at what you have done and review what you'd like to do...and how to get there...!

After looking at some pictures that were taken yesterday, I would have to say that my resolution is to lose weight. I had no idea that I was such a porker! I mean, I am active and I haven't had any problem zipping my pants up. I don't huff and puff when I take my dogs on hikes in the desert. But I look swollen and freaking HUGE! Especially my stomach. And my face.

Hoping to convince my cliƫnts that it takes more than two days to make a good freestyle to music.

You also left out showing. I plan on showing training level with Baby this year.

I also am determined to get back into my skinny, pre-children breeches.

To ride with eyes in the back of my head! Ride my horse with my legs not from the hand!

As Sabine knows, I have been on a very strict diet since late June, which continues to be very succesful, so because I am already doing that, I voted for making more time to ride; Oliver is very spooky when you ride at night. The days area getting longer - spring is on the way! Happy new year, everyone!

I am really disappointed by how few people voted to get off their inside rein! Really.. get off it! Now!!!!

Sabine, I voted to get off my inside rein EVEN MORE because really.. even I, who despise my inside rein, who wishes she could/would cut off her inside hand... even *I* can get off my inside rein a little bit more! Everyone can!

I am so tickled that you made that an option... I am ROTFLMAO... you are such a pleasure.

I should be voting to not buy any more horses.. but I find myself to be weak in the presence of certain bloodlines

My resolution is to finally get my freakin' Bronze medal...just need the third level scores...horse I am currently riding I bred and trained up the levels myself. This is the first time I've had to train flying changes and it's even more of a challenge when you've never even ridden a horse already TRAINED to do them. But we've got a super trainer and we went to a schooling show a few months ago and got a 63 and 65 so I am hoping we'll be ready to show in 'public' in the spring.

My other resolution is to not get dumped by my two three-year-olds.

Oh yea, and to lose ten pounds!
