YEAH! I needed some good news, and this is awesome. God bless those volunteers--there is a special place in heaven for those who help the helpless, even animals (especially animals!).

Big hugs and hot drinks to those folks!

    Default Some video footage

It's 27Km or about 18 miles to the trailhead - long way to go and those horses want out.

I've been following this story and it's been incredible! It makes me cry.
I can't describe how it makes me feel that the snowmobile volunteers are doing this. It sure sounds like they have done all the right things for these horses! That's way more than the %@#$ person who left them did!

Wonderful Christmas story. I hope those two horses go on to live long and love filled lives and the asshat who left them needs to spend some time in the jail with the biggest meanest inmate.

    From Snow and Mud

Got home a little over an hour ago. The horses are down from the mountain and safe and sound (considering the circumstances).
It's been a long day and a long walk...

Words cannot Thank these people enough. What a wonderful thing they did. There is a special place for people who do these acts of kindness.
This is truly a wonderful Christmas for the horses.
Thank you for keeping us updated.
I hope these kind volunteers are shown much appreciation.
Maybe we can find out who they are and send them all Thank you Notes?
Anyone know if that is possible

That's a lovely Christmas story. I've never experienced 30 below - it seems almost superhuman to have done that for the length of the street I live on. Wonderful people.
When we hear so much negativity, this warms te heart. Merry Christmas everyone.
