I am in Charlotte, but I will travel if you can get a few people together. And you are more than welcome to come to me. Let me know if you would like to see my resume.

I don't know of anyone in your area specifically, but there are a few trainers up in that area, I think Ben Tursam is up there generally, and Holly Hepp relocated to Quail Roost. Also, Southern Pines isn't too far of a drive for you and there are a large number of trainers to work with down there.

    Default Sunburst is fantastic.

I board/ride at Sunburst and LOVE IT! Jammie Harlowe is great! We have a small indoor, outdoor with dressage arena, jump field with fantastic jumps and a full xc course.

Wow, Sunburst looks great! I've never heard of it, but it looks like a hidden gem and certainly a great place to school. Jamie Harlowe is the owner's name?

It definitely is a gem! Outside people come school all the time. We love the extra company! Yes, Jammie Harlowe is the owner/trainer. She is especially great with the OTTB's. Its her specialty. Which has come in quite handy for me. Lots of trainers Ive worked with including ULRs have not been able to really "get" my horse. I moved to Sunburst 4 months ago, started taking lessons with Jammie right away and the progress my horse has made is unreal. She moves like a totally different horse now. Their are lots of different disciplines at the barn but a great group of eventers. We go to events with a minimum of 6 horse/rider combos. Usually more! Lots of different ages, super nice people. You really get a "team" feeling. I think Jammie is planning to host some NCDCTA recognized CT's this spring so look for them on the calendar!
