I'm posting this for an acquaintance. Her trainer moved out of state and left several horses behind. Here's her description of him:
"I have recently been left with a little tri-colored pinto pony that needs a new home. His name is Rascal and I want to say he is about 8 years old. He was rescued from a bad home about two years ago along with his brother. He was still a stallion up until then but I have known him from over a year now and have NEVER seen him act studdish!
Rascal has the best personality, and he doesn't know that he is smaller than the other horses. He is halter broke, stands for farrier, and trailers just fine! He has been saddled and bridled but not recently and never ridden.
He needs someone who is NOT a beginner and someone who he can touch because he doesn't trust everyone.
He is very healthy and is current on vaccines and worming. Just two weeks ago he had his fall vaccines, a coggins pulled, and his feet done. He is due for his next de-wormer in Jan. but I already have it so that will be sent with him.
He is a very easy keeper! He has been turned out with geldings and mares, and he does eat grain but it's a very small handful of sweet grain just to make him feel special!
Please pass this along, because he deserves a very loving home!"
