My son's (The Winglet) colt. He has such a great name that I "borrowed" it for several BB's

Bumpkin was my A/O Hunter mare.
Her show name was Pantomime. (Pan Man x Miss Fallacy)

OTTB who was a fabulous jumper and went on to do well in Three Day Events with the juniour I leased her to.

She was almost pony sized and got the name Bumpkin from the Hobbit series where there were three ponies, Bumpkin, Lumpkin and I cannot recall the last ponies name. Sassy Tail or something???

So in honour of a mare that was my best friend and companion, I took her name.

Duffy was the first dog that adopted our family. Here is a picture of him. (What do you think - a cocker/lab cross?)

My first horses were Andy's Delight, Mr Ebony's Delight, and Just Delighted - the first two were by dumb luck, but I named the third. Hey, why fight the trend?

And, I've been batting around the name Delighted Farms if/when I get a barn. That, and there are tons of Annes online already, so another one would just be confusing.

Mine is boring -- as everyone knows, Portia is my mare.

Well, Portia herself isn't boring!

Nylar was the horse I was leasing (my first horse really) when I got the internet. I just KNEW that it would work as a screenname for things since it was so weird.

Mine is the rechristened name given by James Fenimore Cooper to Lake Otsego the pristine long, narow, clear blue lake with a mirror like surface.

It always calls me home ...
