We need a solid and quiet trail horse for beginner adult around 200 pounds. Willing to deal with health issues. Will only trail ride several times a year. Mostly walking, some trotting. Easy terrain. Must be quiet. Will provide awesome forever home.
Hi, I have a beautiful Hanoverian gelding that I am trying to place and I think would be perfect for you. He is a 16.3 hand bay gelding with white. I bought him several years ago as an A circuit prospect but when we started jumping him, he began to appear more and more sore in his hock. When we xrayed we found that he has an old fracture that is healed but had some scar tissue and led to arthritis. Obviously this ended his show prospects but he is just the sweetest well behaved boy. He is sound for light work, and has been wonderful on the trails with my beginner friend. My problem is I have four others and can't pay board on one just to be an occasional trail horse.
He is located in Millington MD and as long as you promise him a forever wonderful home, he is free. Please pm me if interested- I don't think I will be able to check the forum regularly. Thanks
