Dog in desperate need of a new home ASAP
I hate this kind of news, my husband called me today at work to tell me a coworker knows of a dog that is in jeopardy of being put to sleep because the family is too crowded in their town home. The dog is a two year old male black lab named Otis, he has a great personality and good temperament but that's all we know as of yet. The family has children & several dogs and feel their town home has become to crowded so they're going to put the youngest dog to sleep (Otis). I couldn't imagine doing this myself but I don't know their situation. I hate to bother everyone but the more people that can pass this along the better chance this dog has of finding a new home. Thank you for you time, please call Seth @ 717.781.3882, Thank you everyone!!!
I'm assuming this is in the York, PA area or upper Maryland area, I'll try to find out more.

I can't lie... I have a soft spot for lonely labs...
I just can't decide if my little Dexter would love a sibling, or be miserable that he's not my only child...

Lab
That's very sad. I just lost my lab whom I knew from the day she was born. She was 15 and 3 months. I have two others as well.
Where is the dog located? There is a lab rescue here in VA.

There is a lab rescue in PA also. Here is the contact info. The least the people could do is take the time to give it to a rescue. My friend fosters for this group. I would be willing to foster this dog on my own if they would bring it to me. I can't keep forever though. Tho' we do already have an Milo!

The dog is in Northern Maryland, my husband finally got the number of the man last night that owns the dog. Seth (my husband) called last night & spoke to the owners and it doesn't sound like the dog has any vices and is need of a place he can exercise & be loved. A friend of ours called last night & mentioned a doctor she works for is interested in the dog, so we're keeping our fingers crossed. I'll pass the rescue information onto this family, Thank you everyone for all your help, you're the best! I'll keep you all posted on the outcome, Lisa
