Default Super SUPER cute horse on Canter Ohio - someone needs to grab him!

He's too small for me or else I'd be on my way to get this one. What a nicely put together young horse.

REDUCED AGAIN TO $1500! Salty Jake - Spunky 3 year old bay gelding stands 15.2h and is still growing. Jake doesn't have very many races under his belt but it's clear he's not a racehorse. So he's ready to find something to do that will allow him to shine. Jake is clean legged and sound for anything. Needs an experienced rider. Stabled near Beulah Park.

I talked to the owner about him yesterday and the owner sounded like such an a-hole that I don't think I'll bother. Too bad, he looks like a really really nice prospect. Here's a picture of his sire, who he will obviously look like when he grows into himself.

    That bad?

Am I seeing something wrong with the photo, or what is that on his front legs?

If you have any trouble with the owner or trainer, you can always call CANTER OH and see if they can mediate for you. Good luck! He's calling your name!!!

I don't like Daddy's eye at all. Nasty little pig eye.

To me it looks like the stallion's eye is half shut. It's too far away to tell if he has a small eye, or at least it's too far away for me to tell.

TBs don't get pig eyes. It's a trick of the photo.

I was much more distracted by the stallion's knees so I didn't notice his eyes. LOL but the gelding doesn't have his knee or any question about his eye. I sure do like him. I might just have to go see him.

Pig eye is a new term to me... what is it and is it some superstitious thing?

Anyhow- I still think you need to get him!
If you don't want to deal with his owner, maybe someone else can get the deal closed for ya?
I don't have much experience with track owners, so I doubt I can be of help. Sorry.

How can you tell a stallion has a pig-eye from that distance, do you have another photo?

If the owner is an a**hole that's all the more reason to go and save the poor horse from him.
