Fabulous! Love 'em! Yes, no problem with kneepatch. Would be fab if she'd had them as full seats, but I'll live. Clever of her for doing those, they are great. As for the leopard print, I will bow out gracefully. Oliver would be horrified. Bad enough that he is getting a red Mattes pad. Or already has an orange Anky one.
I haven't seen the Goode Rider ones in person but in photos they almost look as if they have a denim-looking fabric.
Ultimately I will indulge in some of the Pikeur denims, but right now I don't want to blow the $$. Though I do love 'em.
you can take the girl outta NY, but ya can't take NY outta the girl
The Pikeur ones are the most flattering... that's why they are the most expensive. The denim Gooderiders have a "pinstripe" in it... I am not in love with the look, and since they are low rise, they run a little smaller (to me anyway)
Doesn't Ovation make some too?
Willem always had a way with his words, and he had such class... maybe his Christmas list should be re-run for new people who never got to meet him?
There are so many new COTH'ers that have horses that will benefit from his list. Maybe Oliver can add a few of his own what not to gets on the list?
to err is human, to whinny, Equine.

Denim breeches have to be the best idea since sliced bread. I would live in jeans entirely if it weren't for having to ride in breeches. Because of cost, I got the TuffRider ones. But, ugh... they chafe. Get a little sweaty, and my bum and knees are raw. They also stretch out too much and by the end of a long day riding I have a baggy butt which is not attractive.
I'm holding out for the Pikeur's. Good to know they are flattering. It is after all THE most important quality. Maybe I'll win the lottery!
