    That is AWFUL!

(I think I should mention that I had someone type this out for me- can't see the keyboard, as I went blind looking at that saddle.)

Well, there are two bids on it and it is still under $2.00!

Even my 9 year old thinks it's awful!

Hey, those were my high school's colors! If the homecoming parade was a horse-friendly thing, this would be just the ticket.

Hey now, don't hate, red and black are my show colors....

They really are, but that saddle? Geez...WHY would someone ever think of creating that?

Yall need to quit talkin smack about "my" saddle you may drive the price up. I want to use it in a lesson and give both my horse and my trainer a stroke.

ETA: Nevermind I saw This saddle on Reynard Ridge's blog... it's a Hermes I'm going to get that one WAAAAAY classier I'll look like I'm just "flying" around my courses...(It's the only way I'll get Harry to look like he's flying anywhere. )

ummm...there's someone in our area who events in a saddle that looks JUST LIKE THAT (maybe it is that saddle!). This person has taken color coordination to a new height! I know Devacouxs can come in some pretty outrageous colors (Phillip Dutton's blue and yellow??), but at least Devacouxs are quality saddles!

I think you should complete the look with these breeches: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NTZqte0RXV...red+stripe.jpg

(There was a thread on the Dressage Forum about Funky Breeches...so if these really don't suit your fancy, I am sure you could come up with another breech rather....well....hhmmmmm,....interesting.

it looks like a vinyl booth in a 50's diner. It would be kinda cool if you wanted your life to be a Happy Days rerun.

The RR chicken saddle is kinda cool in an extreme way I think. More art than anything.

My big question is other than in a parade, WHY would someone use that? I have to admit, it is artistic in an odd sort of way...

I've seen that saddle! I think I saw it on a site for specialized fit saddles, for Arabians or adjustable padding/tree/flock saddle.

It would make an awesome gag gift though if you don't mind paying the money for shipping.
