I do a newsletter version in good ole' Word, including a couple of pictures around the paragraphs, etc.
BUT...do whatever you like! Some people do a newsletter tucked inside a card, others a quick MERRY CHRISTMAS from XXXX in a generic holiday card and still others have custom-designed cards with pictures of their horse(s), family and/or farms.
Just do what ya' wanna do

I'm starting to get kind of excited about this!
I think adding the service person to the list is a great idea, whether or not they can send cards back. What a thrill it would be to be overseas and get all that horsey mail!! Brilliant.
iownapaint - I'm going to stamp cards. Was it really overwhelming last year?! Hopefully it'll be fun and I won't get fried. I guess if it gets too bad, I can change my mind, right? The Word doc with a few photos is a tempting idea too, but it woudl be good for me to justify my horsey stamp collection by using some for cards....now to decide which ones!
slpeders-I'm glad that you like the idea of adding the service person. She must miss her horse and riding terribly. Getting horsey cards should brighten her days. Especially since she won't know about it ;-D
