    Default photos you just love!

Am I the only one that gets frustrated with photos?
I love photography, and love taking pictures at shows for everyone, resulting in everyone having tons of photos. I dont mind doing that, I love to. But it frustrates me b/c I hardly have any of myself riding! My parents try, but they just dont get timing, most of those photos come out and make you go " i didnt know I looked like that!" on occasion there will be one or two lucky shots, but never too many.

and pro photos .. yeah I wont get into that. somehow there is always a reason they missed me thats just my luck.

but at my past 2 shows my friend came and took some LOVELY shots that I just adore!

does anyone else love you photos come out, maybe not perfect, but that just show how much you love your horse? and those shots where you just didnt know how good you were going? and those shots that just make you smile Mind you I had HORRIBLE days at both these shows, but she still managed to get some great ones.

this one means alot to me. we are far from perfect, but we both took a bad fall a few weeks ago and its just proof that we can do it again, despite what my mind is making me feel

even when he was jigging she managed a pretty photo

    and just for fun

    http://inlinethumb29.webshots.com/34...500x500Q85.jpg

and there was also a father at the show that took the time to take photos of me too and sent them (it helps when people think your horse is pretty)

and this one just means the world to me. it wasnt taken at a show, but taken the day I put my once-in-a-lifetime mare down. It hadnt happened yet but I knew she wasnt going to make it at this point, and I was so upset. he just came over and nuzzled me like that for a good 5 minutes.

so who else has pics that they just love?

I can't post it as it's a pro picture, but the photographer at an event got a shot of us in stadium in which my horse had his eyes closed over the fence. It kills me.

My mom took this shot of my DD with a broodmare we had on lease about a year ago. I just love it.

Fleur, Tommy's looking GREAT! Didn't know about your fall, glad you're both doing ok. Yeah, I'm in the same boat; IMO, I take pretty good pics, and it's a little frustrating when you don't have any good ones of yourself! (Exhageration...there are some great pictures of me, and I'm no pro!) Here's one of me and Boomer at a lesson that I really like:

    Waiting around at a show:

The, uh, not so nice shot:

The lighting's really weird for some reason, but I like it:

    Default All time favorite

Here's my all time favorite photo, taken at random during a fun hack through the country. No show, no judges, no pressure... pure fun.

    Honest Jump

Goes to prove that Percherons jump just fine, thank you very much.

Fleur...I'm going to come steal that pony! Adorable!!!!

Wookie...that's one of the prettiest photos I've ever seen! Not just the timing on the jump...but the jump itself and the background scenery, lighting, mist, etc. Very nice picture! I hope you have that framed somewhere prominant in your house!
    You jump in the saddle,

Thank you very much! I am very proud of that picture (and the horse!!!). It embodies just how magical our "quiet" moments are together. He amazes me.

Here's a dressage one from YEARS ago taken by my mom... I think this was the only point during the test where my horse didn't look like a giraffe (I hate crisp, early morning rides at the KHP)

Now my mom has a cool camera that does series pictures... here's one of the pretty cool series (we had a pretty tight turn to a triple on our 'off' lead that I was worried about - so disregard the hideous riding!)
    photo 1 - http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...ff&id=20707034

    photo 3 - http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...c4&id=20707034

And one of my favorite 'getting ready' shots

And finally, the "move your ass over now!" shot

I love threads like this! Some nice looking, nice jumping horses y'all have.

My current favorite. It was taken about a month ago by a friend. The horse is Mythic Feronia, my lovely Morgan mare.

For humor, here's the mare when she'd had enough of us humans!

The other horse I ride is named Trump; he's a big old Canadian WB gelding owned by a friend. He decided to play with me and took off galloping after a warm-up jump. It's from my very first horse trials in July.

Same horse, same day, coming off cross-country. We were both happy!
