    Default Paul V. injured?

I heard that Paul Valliea(msp) had been seriously injured by a horse kick in Rhode Island... Anyone know anything regarding that?

I wonder if the horse took out an insurance policy on PV before he kicked him. (sorry, couldn't resist.)

Last I heard he was in the ICU on life support, but was improving. He was kicked in the chest while sitting on a low fence while teaching a lesson, and broken rib fragments punctured his lungs and spleen. I believe my information to be accurate. I hope he heals quickly, and my thoughts are with his family.

Nikki, I hope you'll rethink your tasteless comment about someone seriously injured, who has worried friends and family.

Oh, wow - jingles for Paul! I've cliniced with him a couple of times in the last several years, and have always been impressed with how fine an eye he has.

I have a ton of sympathy for anyone who was injured but for someone who killed horses for money? Has no regard for the USEF rules? Never!

How would you think about him if he was involved in killing your horse? With a crowbar across the leg? Electrocution?

I feel for his family/friends and I hope for their sake he'll be ok.

I'm sorry...but it is quite funny.

But on a more serious note, I pray for him, his friends, and his family.

I tried to type that I was sorry that he was injured. I really tried.

Unfortunately, I would have a similar problem feeling sorry for any other schmuckhole like him.

Guess I'll have to find some new way to threaten the beasties if Uncle Paul won't be there to arrange their deaths.

If you can't manage compassion you could at least try for manners. Especially if you believe in karma.

Don't feel bad. I never knew who he was either until I started reading this forum. Here's some info I found online, though not much of it is good, I'm afraid:

And from Wiki, for however reliable it is:
