There were so many hunters named Finesse when I was a teen that I always wanted to name one of my jumpers "Forget Finesse." I've come really close to using that name on a couple of the ones I've had since then, but I always chicken out in the end because obviously successfully riding in the big jumpers requires a lot of finesse and I'd hate to jinx myself!
I almost named a TB I have now "Beer Goggles" because he was SOOOO oddly put together (think Frankenhorse) and scraggly looking when I got him. But he (strangely enough) looks so put together when he goes that it really wouldn't make much sense to anyone else. So I guess I'm still looking for a less-than-classic horse to use that name on.
I always wanted to name a massively classy Saddlebred or hunter "The Gallant." And I always wanted to name a Walking horse "Elastic Step." I had a tiny jumper pony that had a motto at the barn, that, if I'd ever got to show him would've made a perfect show name: "More Bounce to the Ounce."
Where is superpony123!? She'll give you her list of pony jumper names like Foxy Shazam!
Malibu Barbie (for a palomino/bucksin/dun)
The Judge (this has been taken already but it's still a BAMF name)
and others that I can not think of at this moment.

My friend, who is done growing and probably 5'5", wants to train ponies when she graduates, and she says when she turns them over to sell them, she's going to name them all after Pokemon! So if in 10-15 years you see a swarm of cute fancy ponies named after Pokemon, she will be responsible.
I have always wanted to see a big sleek expensive horse that kicked ass given a name like 'Fluffy', 'Mittens', or something along that line.
However for a big black dark horse I also would want to call it 'Night Train'. Unfortunately Night Train is also the name of an extremely cheap fortified wine that is a big hit with people who drink it out of the bottle.
