    Just an FYI to prospective breeders out there;

    Loafers Lodge Spring Ahead (welsh stallion) is in the auction. This is a good opportunity to purchase a stallion whose get have won a bunch on the line. Bred by John & Margaret Almond, Spring Ahead has sired multiple in hand winners.

    I'm trying to figure out a way to sneak there but the timing is so poor. Between Warrenton Horse Show where we are showing most days and another show we had previously scheduled, time is a little hard to come by! Plus with 16 foals of my own and 13 yearlings do I have a right to collect more! I possibly think they may commit me soon

    Ok...sorry about that-- with my mum being in the hospital and trying to get all these ponies ready -- I have barely had time to sit and look at the computer...thus my inbox was neglected... It's open now..

    There are 2 ponies that I would love to place a bid on...but I have no way to transport back at this time and don't know anyone who is personally going to be able to make it from NC that I would trust to bid for me

    Just arrived in the state, can't wait until saturday. Windswept had too many tempting babies!

    A bit nervous on the whole auction scene so we'll see how it goes.

    As suspected, prices were in the tank, and turnout (buyers) was poor. There were a couple *good* prices, but over all very low.

    This is just terrible. A friend of mine (I have not seen the ponies) sold 2 of hers for $250. a piece. Thats less than my vet charges to do the newborn exam. YIKES!!!!! But, I did hear, ahead of time, that this was going to be a very low priced sale.
