She is in college (med school) and has to part with her horse. The horse is pretty on the inside but she is super broke for anyone to ride inside/outside western/english. Not sound for jumping or mountains due to an old injury but on the flat and down the trail she is fine.
Has been used for lessons, drill teams, tons and tons of trail riding. Has a nice canter departure for a beginner. Has probably had around 1000+ hours of beginner riders in group and private riding lessons.
Is a "daisy" according to our farrier and a "sweetie" according to our vet. Can be tacked up by anyone.
We'd like her to go to a lesson program that does not take their retired horses to auctions or send them to horse traders. To each their own but this one deserves a decent life to the end. She is not a dead head, she is just happy and comfortable.
Owner wants first "give back" rights if the horse doesn't work out and notification of death.
Looking for a sensible, experienced home where this horse can keep doing what she's best at. Free because that's all we really care about.
