Default Le Santo Retired *UPDATE* 1983-2008

This is what I sent out by email today:
The Legendary Holsteiner Stallion Le Santo has officially been retired.
Le Santo was injured while being collected July 30, 2008. Although the vets feel He will recover, Lisa Dworkin, Irish Hills Farm, Owner of Le Santo, thought it would be in his best interest to retire him. Lisa Stated:
" Le Santo has been a wonderful horse, and has had a long wonderful life & I feel he has earned his right to retire & deserves to live out his days just being a horse & enjoying life with no commitments, I see no reason to put him in any situation where his health would be compromised or where he would be in a position to receive a life threatening injury." He will still be available by frozen semen.

I think she was just quoting her press release, not in the third person although that's what I thought at first too! lol.
