Apparently we will have to wait until October for the planned Canadian Invasion..of course, come the end of November, they'll get last licks...
Well, considering the fact that our farmers can't get in the fields to hay because of all the rain we've had, I may have to go on a exploration mission and steal some before then. Look out Canada, here I come!
I've got to stop saying "How stupid can you be?"
Too many people are taking it as a challenge.
As this chapter in our strange tale draws to a close, we wanted to give everyone a heads up that we'll be closing the thread soon, as the horse-related aspects have been resolved. Pay your respects to Gran and provide any final thoughts before we add this to the "inactive classics" category.
The cremation went well today. It was a sunny day- we've had rain for the past few days, so the sun was very nice. Gran said she felt it was Grandad's last gift to her. Gran is going to spread his ashes on the beach. I think he'd have liked that.
Thank you all for the support you gave me during this. It helped. It really helped knowing that I could come on here and have a laugh.
I am so sorry to hear that Gramps has passed away. I really feel for Gran, she will be lost for awhile. Together 50+ years, amazing. Here is hoping that Drunken Mom and Devil Spawn keep their distance.

I'm glad it all turned out well (excpet for the dead gramps) QUOTE]
I'm not sure what it says about me, but I found this line absolutely hysterical!
Kooki, I read your first entry and bookmarked your blog. Can't wait to keep up with all the goings on in your village. Here's hoping that scattering Gramps on the beach will give Gran a measure of peace and that she will feel his presence when she strolls there in the future. I'm sure that Gramps was behind the sunshine for Gran. I hope she knows that there are many people she never met who are wishing her happier days ahead.
Also to everyone else who's been involved in helping Kookicat in her battle with Demon Spawn & Drunk Mommy. I hope this thread, when it is closed, is put in the favorites archives so everyone will be able to enjoy it!

It's nice to have a happy ending to this story of cheese and witches and Alice in wonderland and the yellowbrick road.
Everyone stands ready to assist again if the demons return to haunt you.
HuntjumpSC will keep her pilot's license just in case, and Horseloverz will keep her stick art sharp for us.
Good luck KookiCat and spend lots of peaceful days riding your horses.
