OK, so let' see, it's confusing so someone add what I forget:
Mum of demon child appears, she had been on vacation in Spain with her boyfriend.
Mum appears at 2am at KookiCat's door, drunk, with Grandma driving.
Mum staggers into electric fence.
PC Owen gets into wreck, is out of commission for a few weeks.
Mum confronts KC in the village, argument ensues.
KC has to go out of town on business, will leave her horses with trainer.
Farmer Dave, if he is smart, will have 2nd thoughts about everything.

Please chime in and tell her what I've left out.

Just a quick update 'cause i'm super tired tonight.

Horses are at my trainers. It's so quiet here without them!

I actually say spawn and mother as I was driving back. Very tempted to run them over... I was a good girl though and didn't. (Think of the damage it would do to my horsebox!)

Grandad is still very ill. They've moved him to the cardiac care unit. Farmer Dave found plastic bags in with his baby cows. We're guessing at this point that spawn hoped they'd eat them. Another man in the village found Gran's dogs loose too- I blame spawn for letting them out.

Might be making progress though- Gran rents her house, and her landlord isn't happy about Spawn and mother living there too (It's a 2 bed).

I think that's all. I'll catch up on the posts tomorrow.

I feel bad for gran, but have to ask--where are her other 2 kids? (esp. as their dad is so ill?)

So why aren't the 2 siblings there helping their father, sitting in the hospital with him? Sound peculiar. On their days off, siblings could come and help out, and could avoid their sister.

Put pressure on landlord.
And maybe Sir Farmer Dave will also.

I know you probably can't answer this, but really, where are the other two sisters? Their dad is deteriorating, their sister and hellion are torturing their mother and they are MIA? Sounds like while they have grown up into productive members of society, they may not have become nice people. This family definitely has a weird dynamic.

Here's hoping that the landlord manages to evict Drunk Mom and the Demon Spawn. Gran doesn't seem to have the emotional fortitude to do it so hopefully outside intervention will take care of it and peace will reign in your village once more!

Thanks for letting us know about the sisters - I think a few of us (I know I was) were beginning to hate them for leaving you and Gran to deal with Drunk Mom and the Demon Spawn. Drunk Mom must really be awful if her sisters can't rein her in - I have sisters and some of them are downright scary!

Okay,so ,I was with y'all for about the first 20 pages,then I got lost and returned somewhere around page 40. I don't think i missed much of the story ,except when last I was reading ,facinated was causing alot of trouble ,as is his want.What happened to him? Did y'all burn him at the stake,or did the mods get fed up and kick his sorry butt out? i can't believe he would have left of his own free will.

Let me put it this way: if you are a law abiding citizen, and you do anything to stop Mr, Mrs, Ms or Master CHAV, tresspassing, robbing or vandalising you or your property, yes, said CHAV can get Legal Aid because you (the law abiding citizen) might have done something to infringe their (the CHAVs) human rights.

OK, here's my idea for a brand new reality show - Chavs v. Rednecks. We'd have Burberry Plaid meets Wranglers. Sideways ball caps v. crushed Stetsons. Filming to commence at Elphaba's farm, of course.
