We are looking for a small/med pony for my 8 year old daughter. We had the perfect pony and unfortunately lost him a few weeks ago to a tragic pasture accident, broken leg. I know how hard these ponies are to find and how cherished they are when you are lucky enough to have one, but thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone knows of a pony looking for a job and alot of love. My daughter is a solid W/T was learning how to canter and go over little poles. We hack out on dirt roads and trails as well. She is small for her age, 46 lbs, so can't have anything too, too strong although she is a gutsy rider. We live on a 17 acre farm in central Vermont with alot of pasture and turnout, with a small barn with run in. Have 2 other horses and another pony for the older daughter, so would have company. I have alot of experience with horses, worked over in England for a couple of years as well as here,before husband and kids. Work for a vet and husband knows how to trim feet. If anyone knows of a pony that might suit I would be eternally grateful.Thanks so much. Chris
