i live in virginia but am in south jersey once a month to check on my parents, i'm headed up there in 2 weeks so if the mule isn't placed by then, i'd like to check her out

I swear I'm not being a smart-ass (no pun intended?!). Is a 1/2 donkey, 1/2 pony called a mule (as a donkey/ horse cross would be)? or are donkey/ pony crosses called something else.

Sadly I can't help you out in California, although if we still lived in PA I'd be all over some of the companion animals here on Giveaways. I always wanted goats, and have seen some really cute mini-donks too. But no sheep, we did have sheep at one point and they are way too dumb and destructive- terrible combination for fencing!

    good luck
