Potentially Popular SSanta gift this year...
Such a coinkydental world, yes?
Love, love, love Demeter fragrances & was browsing to see what new scrumptious concoction I simply *must* have...
And what to my wondering eyes should appear? (stay with me here).
http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.as...OD&ProdID=2359
Yeah.
I laughed.
If you're not familiar with Demeter, these fragrances are 90% spot on amazingly true to the scent of the title object. (FYI: do *not* wear the "Gin & Tonic" lotion to the office).
They have yet to release a "Warm Horse Breath on a Cold Morning" scent...Though I noticed they've added "Sawdust".
Cheers,
Rev

Rev, that's pretty cool! Execpt in all honesty, I wouldn't want to actually smell like crayons....I just want to use them!
Did anyone notice "dirt"? Why, why why??

Ah...but that was before we started doubling-up on colors. She chose a new color (red-violet, or maybe it was violet-red)....

ToT. I'm with you--nor would I want to smell like vinyl car seats (another newer one I notced). But I suppose it's got great memory associations for somebody out there (shrug).
Ah, but "Dirt" is one of the all time classics. No joke!! Mmmmnnn. It smells like...well, it's like...errr. Okay. Like when your garden bed is already tilled up nice and loamy. And it's sun-warmed, releasing that clean (yeah yeah..I know), rich toasty aroma. And it lingers on your hands and knees all afternoon. And each time it wafts up across your nose, you feel warm and alive all over again as though you were still outside turning over soil and breathing in garden air.
Besides, should someone wind up with the CTL for SS this year (hey, it could happen), what could be more fitting a gift than this one?

GEEK INTERLUDE
"Crayola" is one of the most, if not THE most, recognized scents in the United States.
Most people can identify blindfolded.
carry on
hoopoe ( flesh / peach)
PS I love the smell of lumberyards, perhaps sawdust is my choice.

I ran across the crayon fragrance in a store around here not so long ago. I expected it to be really gross smelling but it wasnt. I mean I wouldnt wear it but maybe a teacher or someone who works with kids would. The lady at the store said they sell a fair amount of it (my guess would be mostly as gag gifts but who really knows).
And just so we are staying on the up and up...
I wonder how BA's arena is coming. What type of footing do you think she will use? And I wonder how her new horses in training are coming?

The only Razzmatazz I know of is a yummy raspberry liqueur. So I'm guessing it's a raspberry type of color.

If I remember correctly, it's a sparkley-raspberry color, so you're right.

Sorry, I thought we were doubling up colors!
I can always make one up if that's allowed.

If everone will share, we can double up on colors. Wish we could make them up. Choose one and share. I'll share burnt sienna with you.
My WB was inspired and wanted "manure stain brown" but apparently crayola is unreasonable and won't produce a color that would be so popular.

Those Crayola peeps are so selfish.
I want to special order a "buckskin", a "water trough blue" and an "orchard grass."

What a great way to pass the time in a hotel room on a Sunday night. Better than paying $13 for "Made of Honor" or "Baby Mama"!
Erin says we must stick to the colors in the box of 64, and for some dumb reason, your color and my WBs choices are not included. Crayola is missing out on big volume sales for those of us coloring horses as opposed to coloring with guys.
So I picked burnt sienna, kinda looks like manure (not on grass) so you may share with me if you wish, or pick a yellow shade on page 13 closest to whiz.
And we are all sharing colors now.

Consider me to be "coloring outside the lines". :P
To maintain the official Crayola support roster in its correct original 64-color state, I would like to share MAIZE.

Bummer crayola doesn't use horsey colors. There are so many options!
Like gray-green pony (manure stains...)
Mahogany Bay
Oakbark, Newmarket (heck they'd have all the shades of brown covered if they used tack colors!)
Chrome (aka white )
Grulla (that would be like the mystery color in the box.)
George Morris Rust (after those infamous breeches!)
Liverpool Blue
