Default a sort of spinoff: let's share photos of us and our horses enjoying eventing!

I thought that the top 5 reasons were very cool, and thought it would be a fun idea to show pictures of the horse and rider partners loving their sport!

    Here's mine:

My mare and I had the best time at the AEC's in 2006. We were last place after dressage, and spent the rest of the week having the time of out lives

The first pony I evented! http://good-times.webshots.com/photo...73703422faZeFn He could be a stinker sometimes, but I love him (and miss him! We leased him, and his owners wouldn't let us buy him from them ).

Tyler! My little sister's packer who gave me so much confidence! I would not have cared if we finished dead last everytime, but as a bonus he was very competitive. We had a lot of success at BN. http://good-times.webshots.com/photo...73703422qFXwOq

Sonny. I had some problems at first learning to ride him. He isn't difficult by any means, but he usually only goes as good as I ride him. http://good-times.webshots.com/photo...73703422cKTpGW

KBG - Sonny is a great jumper! You guys look terrific! I remember when you were riding your first pony... you've toned down the colour scheme!

Here's some of my guy having fun:

It takes a good deal of physical courage to ride a horse. This, however, I have. I get it at about forty cents a flask, and take it as required. ~Stephen Leacock

Everyone's horses are very cute, and look to love their jobs!

KBG Eventer- Thank you! She's now 20, and regrettably retired, because she loved running cross country. I now have an up and coming prospect who is 8.

He hasn't been ridden in almost 9 months, with this picture being my 4th ride on him.
I had a pony club lesson on him the other day, and sent him over a little log with brush over it. He didn't want to trot it, and cantered it. He was so excited and enthousiastic!

The top 5 reasons I love this sport (and my mare):

    Sometimes, dressage looks like this:
    http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...&id=1042146676

The end of dressage always feels like this:
    http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...&id=1042146676

    And of course there's this:
    http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...&id=1042146676

    This:
    http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...&id=1042146676

    And this:
    http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...&id=1042146676

    I really love my mare - it's a good thing too, she's a 15.1h chestnut TB! I think I'm stuck with her.

She IS a blast (and she jumped a bit today, too, "Mom"!). FYI- Fix your links so you can share with everyone...bottom of the page should be a URL to post a public pic.

No pics of the Paco pony yet...one day. But lots of others...

A "baby" Ralph sj at his first BIG event! http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...7&id=840606599

A slightly more grown up Ralph, looking brilliant after being very cheeky early on- http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...c&id=840606599

And a very grown up Ralph at our first prelim- http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...2&id=840606599
(I miss him so much... ).

Show jumping a very young little mare at her first novice (thank God in heaven she has finally bulked up and looks like a grown up horse!) http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...d&id=840606599

And, most recently, a video (as I have no pictures) of the Young One doing his first xc at his first, well, anything...he won, by the way! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F224gB6Uqy4
